this is dedicated to the one(s) I love

*Warning: this post is sappy

Earlier this week, I was jerk. A super big (as big as I can be at five feet), inexcusable jerk. If you know the day-to-day of my life, you might think you know what I'm talking about...but you'd be wrong.

See, in a bad moment I suggested that there was nothing in Utah for me. That one person had made it bearable (and I thought that person was gone).

But the truth is...there are three girls here that make Utah not just bearable, but a lot of fun. These past week has shown me that they have my back, no matter what. I don't deserve them, but I'm glad they don't realize that.

Kristy

I've talked about my roomie before. She is really pretty and it makes me self-conscious. But I just take it as a compliment that she'd be friends with me. She is like a sister to me, truly. We are so close that sadly her compliments mean nothing to me anymore because it's like your mom telling you you're pretty. Because when someone loves you that much they can't see you as anything but beautiful. So yeah. She's awesome.

Mel
You know those people in your life who are so amazing that they make you want to be better? That's Melissa. I'm pretty sure they invented the phrase 'wise beyond your years' knowing that she'd be that way, and we would need a way to describe her. Whenever I'm veering off course, Melissa knows what to say to get me back on. Also...she's my fellow blonde!

Heather
Heather isn't that much younger than me, but she reminds me of my little in my sorority, so I always think of her as a younger sister. Because if I had one I'd want her to be like Heather. She makes me laugh and I love to laugh. When I was sick with strep throat she risked infection to bring me a Frosty and watch The Bachelor finale with me. That's friendship. Also, she makes the best faces. And, she took and edited the photos I've posted here.

I had to include a serious one where they all look pretty and aren't acting silly.

Girls, you mean the world to me. I wouldn't have made it this long in Utah without you.

I figured since you were sad that I didn't comment on this post earlier I would come declare my love for you as well :) You know I love you and that you are more than a friend to me - you're like my sister. And when I say sister, I don't mean, like, an actual sister, but I mean it like the way black people use it. Which is more meaningful I think.
